Spider-Bot can be found in the South-West area of the Upper East Side district. It’ll be on the side of a building right on the street that divides the Upper East Side from Central Park. Head for Avengers Tower (the tall skyscraper with the red A on it), then check the buildings just West of it. The Spider-Bot will be here on the North face of one of the brick buildings. This Spider-Bot, Spider-Punk, is found high up a skyscraper in the North-East corner of the district.

Smoke And Mirrors Suit

Hopes were high when the teasers at the end of both Spider-Man and Miles Morales teased the arrival of Venom. And, thankfully, it’s the only part of the story they actually did well. Using it to tell a tragic tale of two friends, instead of the more standard Eddie Brock story. Insomniac easily could have simply reused the map from Spider-Man and Miles Morales. A mostly accurate recreation of New York City, with certain buildings missing and other ones added. It’s all part of delivering an epic Spider-Man adventure directly into your hands.

There are now three different skill trees to develop as the game progresses. The two individual strands focus on what makes each hero unique, such as Miles’ bioelectricity and invisibility, and Peter’s Spider-Arms and Symbiote powers. Building on top of the classic web-swinging fun that the previous two games delivered, Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 introduces the ability to glide using Web Wings. But they aren’t just a flashy addition from the comics and movies – they entirely change how you navigate around Marvel’s New York.

A More Accessible Spider-man Experience

It soundtracks a world that looks stunning, even when played in performance mode at a stable 60fps as I did for most of my playthrough. Rewards for completing these various activities vary, with some ranging from genuinely exciting story teases for what’s to come, to simply gaining some tech parts to upgrade your abilities with. The tasks are often so mundane and repetitive, however, that I did frequently question whether these small, congratulatory nuggets were worth the slog they too often turned out to be. To their credit, the way you can highlight side objectives by pressing the right stick is a welcome upgrade over mere icons on a map. Even without that, you can spot ominous clouds or glowing purple rooftops with the bare eye signaling activities are there to be found.

The Launch Edition is slightly different from the regular physical Standard Edition of the game. It features the Launch Edition logo at the top and comes with the aforementioned pre-order bonuses. Jim Pirri and Tony Todd join the cast as the voices of Kraven and Venom, respectively. Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 was officially released on January 30, 2025, for PC, continuing the narrative from its predecessors. The game features a compelling storyline, expanding the Spider-Man universe by introducing new enemies such as Venom and Kraven the Hunter.

Scream will be appearing as one of the symbiotic adversaries in the sequel game. Like Venom, Scream possesses a deadly arsenal of abilities that makes her a nightmare for New York residents.
